Welcome to the National Leak Prevention Association's
new web site.
This site has been created to assist industry
professionals, governmental regulators, educators and interested
individuals in obtaining NLPA standards information. Since its inception
in 1988, it has been the purpose of the NLPA to develop technical
standards and industry procedures for both underground and aboveground
liquid storage structures. The United States Federal Government
as well as the individual states and the petroleum, petro-chemical
and chemical industries have used NLPA standards in their efforts
to protect our precious water and land resources as well as the
lives and safety of people. The NLPA continues to work to develop
new and updated standards for liquid storage system technologies
in the 21st century.
